BildrX Privacy Policy

Last updated:

1.Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how GrowValley Ventures LLC (“BildrX,” we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the BildrX platform, accessible at bildrx.com (the Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2.Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Account information: name, email address, and password (or, if you sign in with Google, the name/email/profile information Google shares with us).
  • Company profile information: company name, stage, industry, and other details you enter to help BildrX personalize investor matching and dashboard content.
  • Cap Table data: stakeholder names, email addresses, security type, share quantities, price per share, issue dates, and related transaction history you enter for your company’s capitalization table.
  • Investor CRM data: notes, pipeline stage, and activity history you record about investors you’re tracking. The underlying investor records (firm, contact info) are drawn from BildrX’s own investor database, not user-submitted.
  • Data Room and Legal Room documents: files you upload — pitch decks, financials, cap table backup, contracts, and other diligence materials.
  • E-signature information: when you use BildrX’s e-signature feature (powered by SignWell), we collect the signer’s name, email address, and signature/consent data necessary to generate and route the document for signature.
  • AI Chat content: prompts you send to BildrX AI and the resulting conversation. This content is sent to our AI infrastructure provider (Anthropic) to generate responses. See Section 4.
  • Payment information: when you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is handled directly by Stripe. BildrX does not receive or store your full card number; we receive limited billing metadata (plan, billing status, last four digits) from Stripe to manage your subscription.
  • Communications: if you contact us for support, we collect what you send us.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, deck view counts, and similar interaction data within the Service.
  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 8.

3.How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (cap table management, CRM, data room hosting, e-signature routing, AI chat responses);
  • Authenticate you and secure your account;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests;
  • Monitor and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

4.AI features

BildrX’s AI Chat feature is powered by Anthropic’s Claude models. When you use AI Chat, the content of your prompts and relevant account context (e.g., your CRM or data room state, to give a more useful answer) may be sent to Anthropic to generate a response.

5.How we share information

We share information with the following categories of service providers (“subprocessors”) solely to operate the Service:

ProviderPurpose
SupabaseDatabase, authentication, and file storage
VercelApplication hosting
StripePayment processing
SignWellE-signature generation and routing
AnthropicAI Chat responses
ResendTransactional email delivery
GoogleSign-in with Google (OAuth)
CloudflareDNS and content delivery

We may also share information: to comply with law, subpoena, or legal process; to protect the rights, property, or safety of BildrX, our users, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to affected users).

6.Data about third parties you upload or enter

Much of what BildrX stores isn’t about the account holder — it’s about the people the account holder adds: co-founders, employees with equity, investors in a CRM pipeline, signers on a document.

7.Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Cap table and ledger entries are retained indefinitely by design, as the ledger is append-only (corrections are recorded as new reversing transactions, not deletions) — this reflects how cap tables work in practice and is disclosed to you in-product.

8.Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the Service, including authentication session cookies.

9.Your rights and choices

You may access, update, or delete your account information through your account settings. You may request a copy of your data or request deletion by contacting us at [PRIVACY EMAIL].

10.Data security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11.Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12.International data transfers

BildrX’s infrastructure is hosted in the United States.

13.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date above.
